Aims and Objectives

To learn health and safety essentials, fire safety, manual handling, workstation safety and basic first aid.

Target Audience

Those who need to learn some basic information on health and safety.

Course content

Module 1: Health and Safety Essentials - an introduction to basic health and safety concepts, be aware of hazards to improve safety.

Module 2: Workstation Safety Plus - Learn how to work safely at your computer.

Module 3: Fire Safety Plus - Learn the basics of fire safety, fire prevention and what to do in an emergency.

Module 4: Manual Handling Plus - Learn correct handling techniques at work.

Module 5: First Aid - Learn the basics of first aid in this interactive module. This has been developed in conjunction with St John Ambulance.
